Born to immigrant parents who founded a Japanese Canadian newspaper company, Goh traveled across the vast country and cultivated his sense of curiosity from a young age. Receiving a B.A. in Human Geography further deepened his understanding and awareness of the diverse intricacies and nuances of human connection. Today, Goh focuses on filmmaking that stems from a place of empathy at its core, merged with thoughtful, beautiful cinematography which defines the ethos of his storytelling.
His recent work for The Farmer’s Dog became the #1 Super Bowl 2023 ad by USA Today’s Ad Meter rankings touted for its storytelling and sense of humanity. It also received a nomination for the 75th Emmy Awards (2023) in the Outstanding Commercial category.
Goh is represented in the US, Canada, UK, Spain and South America where he has received numerous accolades - including Cannes, AICP, Shots, Webby’s, ADC, and Vimeo Staff Picks among others.
